Oct. Recap & Nov. Meeting

Last Meeting of 2019!

Yes, you read that right. Our last networking meeting of 2019 will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 8:00 AM. The meeting is set to take place at Sacopee Valley Health Center,  in Porter, Maine. The meeting room is located in the optometry building (the white house behind the parking lot).

All local business owners and/or professionals are invited to attend. We will be discussing our business’s accomplishments over 2019, share leads, successes and challenges, business news, etc.

This is a great opportunity to meet other local professionals and talk about your plans for 2020. And then go out and vote, of course!

October Recap

Thank you!

Our October host was The Local Gear in Cornish. David and Heather fed us yummy goodies and hot coffee on a rainy morning. We heard from David about what has made them so successful in providing an outstanding customer experience every time. I mentioned their Gooogle reviews in my last email. The proof is in the pudding!

New Businesses

We welcomed to our group Theressa Harrigan, a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides counseling to the Sacopee Valley via her office at Across the River Counseling in Hiram. Call 207-305-0939 fmi.

Invitation

Many of you are already familiar with CAB, some of you are already members. CAB is different from our group as its primary focus is on economic development and community events. This is not a pitch for membership, but rather an invitation to attend their next meeting to learn more about the group. CAB’s next meeting is 11/12/19, 6:00PM @ the Cornish UCC

Small Business Saturday

Bangor Savings Bank is putting together its giveaway bags for Small Business Saturday. Local businesses can drop off their promotional items by November 18, so they can put the bags together for distribution on 11/30. Stop by the Cornish branch to drop off your Sacopee Valley business' promotional items!

Remember – now is the time to be planning for 2020!

A few tips:

  • Make a list of what did & what didn’t work in 2019.

  • List the events & opportunities you wish you had participated in.

  • Define and segment your audience.

  • Set your budget.

  • Set monthly goals.

  • Ask for help if you need it!
